After his wife discovers his infidelity during a viewing of Tarkovsky's Stalker, Ferdi undergoes a psychological shift. He begins living like a character from a minimalist film—with prolonged stillness and silence—believing it to be enlightenment. This extreme transformation accelerates the collapse of his marriage, job, and social ties. In the end, isolated and confronted by reality, he faces a fragile moment of possible reconciliation with his estranged wife.

Ferdi, a clever engineer, shoots his wife and her lover after learning of their infidelity, and takes a child hostage in his apartment. He only wants to speak with his former therapist, Gökçen. Gökçen, a sensitive and agnostic clinical psychologist, takes responsibility for the child's life. Their conversations at home reveal Ferdi's inner turmoil and his broken connection to faith. Gökçen's plan is to make Ferdi abandon his actions by converting him to religion. However, she herself harbors a lack of faith stemming from childhood traumas. A deep psychological and philosophical confrontation about faith, forgiveness, and guilt begins between the two characters. While Gökçen begins to reconsider God, Ferdi has lost hope of forgiveness. And as Ferdi is shot by a police officer in a final moment of remorse, the dark clouds in Gökçen's inner world dissipate.
